The Procurement Head had to solve the mystery of the missing liters &#8211; about 10%!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The investigation and strategy adopted<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although the local refinery resumed operations, a fresh batch of 5 tanker loads was ordered from the same outside refinery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tankers monitored by Security staff after entering the factory.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dip check done under video coverage,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Underground calibrated reservoir reading counter checked &#8211; same loss noted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Discovery<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I climbed the tanker to intensify the examination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entire Dip Stick insertion assembly was disassembled for scrutiny.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A brilliantly engineered contraption &#8211; the dip chamber was a cylinder scientifically designed with holes at the bottom to allow entry of the fluid for the main tanker chamber, and just an overflow hole at the top!
